Today 3-days training programme has been started with 101 no. of pre-primary teachers of west district at Acharya Prafulla Chandra Smriti Vidya Mandir auditorium. The main theme of training is “Early Child Care and Education” i.e., ECCE, which is highly emphasized in NEP-2020. The total 101 participants are grouped into two batches, so that training will become one to one interactive and more effective.

She also told that it is proven that upto 6 years of age the rate of brain development of a child remains very fast. So if during this period children are nurtured properly they could be grown as potential learners in future. Being the Director of Social welfare Department as well she also mentioned that initiatives are to be taken in favour of Anganwadi children to provide them quality education along with good nutrition.

Joint Director Harshita Biswas in her words represented the past to present scenario of pre-school education of the state along with the initiatives taken by pre-primary cell for betterment of the field.

OSD Abhijit Samajpati in his address mentioned that this end of the session training is the preparation for the upcoming academic session 2024-25. Through his inspirational words he appealed for effective use of the things that they are going to learn in three days.

Keeping in mind these decentralised but synchronised sessions of training, reconstruction of core group members who will work as academic leaders for pre-school education had already been done. This time academic leaders have been selected from each of the eight districts and they will directly lead for the implementation of various practices related to pre-school education of their districts. Those academic leaders are going to take module specific training in their respective districts during this entire session of training programme. For West District there are 8 academic leaders who will take sessions for the next three days.

Unakoti district also started their training session from today at Bhagat Singh Hall of Kailashahar. Sepahijala and Khowai District will also commence the training programme from tomorrow.

The main moto of the entire training programme is to develop skill of the teachers who was not covered previously under training programme, before commencement of new academic session.
