The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) announced the results of the Higher Secondary examination and Madrasa Fazil on Sunday. Addressing the media, TBSE president Dr Bhabotosh Saha said, “this year pass rate stands at 95.20 percent and the total number of regular candidates was 24,283 and female students outnumbered the male students”.

“The Pass percentage in Arts is 98.65 percent. In Commerce and Science, pass percentages are 96.22 percent and 98.28 percent respectively”, Dr Saha added.

Dr Saha also said, for the first time students appeared in the examinations after the NCERT syllabus was introduced. He also said, pass percentage in TTAADC areas improved to 92.37 percent compared to last year’s 73.68 percent. The pass percentage among the ST students stands at 92.09 percent and among the SC, it is 95.23 percent.

Among the districts, North is leading the table with 96.47 percent success rate.

The TBSE president told the media that a total of 24 regular candidates appeared in Madrasa Fazil this year. Pass percentage in Humanities is 87.50 percent and in The theology success rate is 88.24 percent.
