US President Donald Trump warned Iran of massive retaliation, claiming 1,000 missiles are ready if Tehran attempts to assassinate him. The remarks, amid rising US-Iran tensions and intelligence reports of alleged threats, have intensified concerns over regional security and stability.

US President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran, declaring that the United States is prepared to launch an overwhelming military response if Tehran attempts to assassinate him. The latest remarks, made through his social media platform Truth Social, have further heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran amid growing concerns over regional security.

In his strongly worded message, President Trump claimed that the United States has already positioned significant military assets against Iran in response to what he described as repeated threats against his life.

“1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!” Trump wrote.

The US President further warned that military orders had already been issued and that the American armed forces stood ready for a prolonged campaign if such an attack were carried out.

According to Trump, the US military is “ready, willing, and able” to continue operations for up to one year, with the possibility of extending the campaign if necessary. He asserted that such action would “completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran,” underscoring the seriousness of his warning.

The latest statement comes at a time of increasing hostility between the United States and Iran, following renewed military confrontations and escalating political rhetoric. Trump’s comments followed reports from funeral processions held after the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, where anti-American slogans were reportedly chanted.

Media reports indicated that some mourners participated in demonstrations calling for retaliation against the United States. During one procession, participants reportedly passed beneath a bridge displaying a billboard featuring an image of President Trump with a bullet aimed at his head, further fuelling controversy and international attention.

Meanwhile, concerns over Trump’s security have intensified after reports emerged that US intelligence agencies were reviewing information provided by Israel regarding a possible Iranian assassination plot.

According to a report published by The Wall Street Journal, intelligence shared by Israel suggested a fresh Iranian plan targeting President Trump. The information reportedly prompted US officials to move the President to an older but more secure Air Force One aircraft during his return journey from Turkey as a precautionary measure.

However, the report noted that some American officials questioned the credibility of the intelligence, saying the information had not been fully verified.

Separately, CNN reported that the intelligence involved broader discussions among hardline elements in Tehran about harming the US President rather than evidence of a specific operational assassination plot.

The developments come amid renewed US military strikes on Iranian targets following Iranian attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most strategically important maritime routes for global energy supplies.

The escalation has raised fears of wider conflict across the Middle East, with analysts warning that continued military exchanges and increasingly aggressive rhetoric could further destabilise the region.

Neither Iranian officials nor the White House immediately issued additional statements responding to the latest exchange of threats. Diplomatic observers continue to monitor the situation closely as concerns grow over the possibility of further escalation between the two longtime adversaries.

With both Washington and Tehran maintaining hardline positions, international attention remains focused on whether diplomatic efforts can prevent the increasingly hostile rhetoric from developing into a broader military confrontation.
