PM Modi interacts with students in Pariksha Pe Charcha; Advises students to take nutritional diet to stay healthy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has underscored the importance of education highlighting that it is meant for holistic development. He made these remarks while interacting with students during the eighth edition of the popular interactive program ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ in New Delhi. In a video released today, the Prime Minister addressed students on how to overcome stress and anxiety during exams.

During the interaction, the Prime Minister advised students not to confined within walls. He emphasised that for growth, students need the freedom to explore their passions. Mr Modi noted that one should not live with the idea that exams are everything.

Highlighting that students are not robots, the Prime Minister said that students cannot grow if they are trapped in books. He noted that students should engage in their favourite activities to perform well in exams. The Prime Minister also advised students to develop a habit of writing.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of nutrition and wellness advising students to eat millets and vegetables to keep themselves healthy. He also pointed out that sleep is dependent on nutrition, emphasising that medical science recognizes the importance of sleep. He encouraged students to spend time in the morning sun.

He also gave tips to students on mastering pressure, acknowledging that low grades often create a tense environment at home. He advised students to prepare without stressing over this pressure and to keep challenging themselves.

During an interaction, Aluvela Saiteja, a student from Telangana said that the Prime Minister’s words were inspiring and would be helpful for him during the exams.

Preeti Biswal, one of the student asked Mr. Modi to advise the talented and hardworking students of the country. Replying to the question, the Prime Minister emphasized that students should remain positive irrespective of the pressure and self-doubt that arises during the exam season.

Another student asked how important time management is during the exams. Responding to it the Prime Minister said that understanding time is very important and advised the students to make a to-do list to track the activities. He urged the students to take a challenge against the subjects that they don’t like.

The programme is being telecasted live on Akashvani, Doordarshan, Swayam, Swayam Prabha, the PMO YouTube channel, and the social media channels of the Education and Information and Broadcasting Ministries. In this edition, around thirty six students from all states and Union Territories have been selected to interact directly with the Prime Minister. With over 5 crore participation, this year’s program exemplifies its status as a Jan Andolan, inspiring collective celebration of learning.

Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 will feature seven insightful episodes, bringing together renowned personalities from diverse fields to guide students on essential aspects of life and learning. Over the years, Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved into an opportunity aimed at transforming exam-related stress into positive energy.
