Shiv Khori is the only religious place, after Vaishno Devi, which has been attracting devotees from all over the country. This was disclosed by Vishesh Mahajan, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, who is also the Vice chairperson of Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board (SSKSB). In a bid to promote pilgrim-tourism, apart from adding other tourist facilities, efforts are going on for starting Helicopter Services from Vaishno Devi, Katra to Shiv Khori.
Mr Mahajan said that the construction of the helipad and allied infrastructure along with the approach road is almost complete and helicopter services are likely to start soon. He said that as the Shiv Khori Cave Shrine is attracting a large number of pilgrims, the district administration and SSKSB are geared up to provide every possible facility to divert pilgrims of Vaishno Devi towards Shiv Khori.
