Global crude oil prices reach their lowest levels in nearly four months

Global crude oil prices slumped today, reaching their lowest levels in nearly four months. Brent crude was trading almost three per cent down at 74 US dollars and 80 cents per barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude was also trading more than 2.8 per cent down at 71 US dollars and 12 cents per barrel, at the time of the last report.
