Rupee appreciates by eight paise against US dollar to close at 94.66 

In the forex market today, the rupee appreciated by eight paise to close at 94 rupees and 66 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 101.69 in intra-day trade.
