Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that the budgetary allocation made to Bihar for Railway Projects has been increased nine times in the last eleven years. Replying to a question in the Lok Sabha, Mr Vaishnaw said, 11 years before the annual budget for railways in Bihar was only one thousand 132 crore rupees, and now it has increased to ten thousand crore rupees. He said the NDA government can only deliver justice to the people of the State. Mr Vaishnaw informed the House that various railway projects which were pending for many years have now been completed. The Minister informed that redevelopment work on 98 stations is going on in the state. Mr Vaishnaw highlighted that eight Vande Bharat and five Amrit Bharat trains are operational in Bihar.
