High-level coordination meeting held in Kalyanpur to ensure smooth and fair conduct of TBSE Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations 2026. Authorities finalize committee, security, and logistics as 680 candidates prepare for crucial board exams.

Kalyanpur witnessed a high-level administrative meeting on Thursday to ensure the smooth, peaceful, and transparent conduct of the upcoming Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations under the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE). The meeting was held at North Ghilatali Ratia Higher Secondary School, one of the designated examination centres in the subdivision.

According to officials, the Higher Secondary examinations will commence on February 25, followed by the Madhyamik examinations starting February 26. In Kalyanpur, examinations will be conducted at two centres — North Ghilatali Ratia Higher Secondary School and Bagan Bazar High School.

The meeting was attended by local MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, Assistant BDO Prasanta Chakraborty, headmasters of various schools, and officials from multiple line departments, including education and administrative authorities. The gathering focused on strengthening coordination among departments to ensure that students can appear for the examinations without disruption.

During the meeting, a new examination monitoring committee was constituted to oversee arrangements and maintain discipline at the centres. Manoj Debbarma was appointed as Secretary of the Kalyanpur Centre, while Additional BDO Prasanta Chakraborty was designated as Officer-in-Charge. The committee will supervise logistical arrangements, security deployment, invigilation protocols, and emergency response preparedness.

Officials informed that a total of 384 candidates will appear for the Madhyamik examination, while 296 candidates are set to take the Higher Secondary examination in Kalyanpur this year. With 680 students scheduled to sit for these crucial board examinations, authorities emphasized the need for seamless coordination, strict vigilance, and adherence to examination guidelines issued by TBSE.

Addressing the meeting, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury urged all departments to work in close coordination to ensure a fair and peaceful examination environment. He stressed the importance of maintaining discipline, preventing malpractice, and guaranteeing student safety. He also directed officials to ensure proper seating arrangements, adequate drinking water supply, electricity backup, and security presence at both centres.

Education department officials highlighted that strict monitoring mechanisms will be in place to prevent any form of unfair means. Invigilators will be briefed thoroughly before the commencement of examinations, and necessary administrative support will be extended throughout the examination period.
