Jubin Nautiyal’s live concert at Unity Promo Fest 2025 draws record crowds in Agartala as Chief Minister Manik Saha highlights unity, culture, and tourism promotion. A landmark musical event showcasing Tripura’s growing national presence.
Agartala witnessed an unforgettable musical evening as renowned Bollywood playback singer Jubin Nautiyal performed live before a record-breaking crowd at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, marking the grand finale of the Unity Promo Fest 2025. The event turned into one of the largest cultural gatherings in Tripura in recent years, highlighting the state’s growing prominence on India’s cultural and tourism map.
Thousands of music enthusiasts began assembling hours before the scheduled performance, eager to witness Jubin Nautiyal’s soulful renditions of chart-topping Bollywood hits. The massive turnout exceeded expectations, forcing security personnel to close the entry gates well ahead of the singer’s arrival on stage. The unprecedented crowd size underlined Jubin Nautiyal’s immense popularity and the public’s enthusiasm for high-profile cultural events in the state.
Given the scale of the gathering, Director General of Police Anurag personally rushed to the venue to assess the security arrangements. Senior police and administrative officials were strategically deployed in and around the venue to maintain law and order and ensure smooth crowd management. Despite the heavy footfall, the event remained peaceful and well-coordinated, reflecting meticulous planning by the authorities.
The inaugural session of the concluding event was attended by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, members of his cabinet, former Chief Minister and sitting Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb, and Tripura Tourism Brand Ambassador Sourav Ganguly, lending the occasion significant political and cultural importance.

Before the concert began, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha formally felicitated Jubin Nautiyal and his team, acknowledging their contribution to Indian music and their presence at the Unity Promo Fest. Addressing the audience, the Chief Minister credited Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury for playing a decisive role in bringing the celebrated artist to Tripura.
“This event has become possible because of the dedicated efforts of Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury. He worked tirelessly to ensure that the young generation of Tripura gets the opportunity to enjoy a grand musical extravaganza of national stature,” Dr Saha said.
Emphasising the broader social message behind the festival, the Chief Minister highlighted the significance of adding the word ‘Unity’ to the Promo Fest this year. He explained that the festival aimed not only to promote tourism and culture but also to reinforce social harmony across communities.
“The addition of ‘Unity’ reflects our commitment to togetherness. When people from different backgrounds and identities work collectively for a common purpose, real unity is achieved. Such initiatives strengthen social bonds and promote mutual respect,” Dr Saha added.
Former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb also lauded Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury for conceptualising and executing events that project Tripura on a national platform. He stated that innovative cultural programmes like the Unity Promo Fest help redefine the state’s image and attract wider attention from across the country.

Tripura Tourism Brand Ambassador Sourav Ganguly, former Indian cricket team captain, echoed similar sentiments. He noted that Tripura holds immense untapped potential in tourism and cultural promotion. According to him, large-scale events featuring nationally recognised personalities can significantly enhance the state’s visibility and encourage tourism-driven development.
As Jubin Nautiyal took the stage, the atmosphere transformed into a sea of lights, cheers, and music. The singer mesmerised the audience with back-to-back hit songs, creating an emotional and energetic connection with fans of all ages. The concert served as a perfect culmination to the Unity Promo Fest 2025, blending music, culture, and a powerful message of togetherness.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha later described the evening as “a spectacular celebration of unity, culture, and creativity,” calling the closing ceremony a fitting conclusion to the festival. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury also welcomed Jubin Nautiyal and Sourav Ganguly, reaffirming the government’s commitment to promoting Tripura through cultural excellence and inclusive celebrations.
