India launches a global diplomatic blitz with multi-party MP delegations visiting key nations to expose Pakistan’s role in terrorism and highlight Operation Sindoor, aiming to isolate Islamabad and gather international support against cross-border terror.

The government of India, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is dispatching multi-party delegations of Members of Parliament (MPs) to key global capitals to highlight Pakistan’s complicity in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and build strong international momentum against cross-border terrorism.

According to sources, six separate groups of MPs — each comprising five members — will visit various countries from May 22 to June 1. These delegations will present detailed evidence of Pakistan’s role in harbouring and promoting terrorism, particularly in relation to the brutal Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 lives, and the objectives of India’s recent Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan-occupied areas.

The initiative includes MPs from across the political spectrum, making it the first such effort by the Modi government to use elected representatives as diplomatic envoys. Notable figures leading these delegations include Shrikant Shinde (BJP), Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK), Supriya Sule (NCP), Shashi Tharoor (Congress) and Sanjay Jha (JD-U). Their visits will span strategic nations like the United States, Japan, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, and South Africa.

Other prominent MPs expected to participate include Anurag Thakur, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Tejasvi Surya (BJP), Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu (TDP), Manish Tewari (Congress) and Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM).

This major diplomatic push is part of India’s broader response to what officials call an “escalating attempt by Pakistan to internationalise the Kashmir issue.” The move also comes in the wake of certain international remarks, including those by US President Donald Trump, urging mediation — a position India has consistently rejected, maintaining that Kashmir is a bilateral matter.

Sources within the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) reveal that the delegations will be equipped with comprehensive dossiers compiled in collaboration with intelligence and defence agencies. These will include data on terror recruitment networks, locations of terror camps, and involvement of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

A senior official said the mission is focused on “shattering Pakistan’s false narrative and rallying global support for India’s counter-terrorism efforts.” Indian embassies in each destination will play a key role in facilitating meetings, briefings, and public diplomacy engagements.

The teams will also seek to explain the scope and intent behind Operation Sindoor, emphasizing that the operation specifically targeted terror infrastructure and avoided civilian harm, thereby upholding international law.

Crucially, the delegations are expected to highlight Pakistan’s consistent use of terrorism as a tool of statecraft, citing long-standing intelligence and operational evidence. They will also point to Pakistan’s retaliatory actions following Operation Sindoor as proof of its complicity in sheltering and supporting terror groups.

This unprecedented campaign aims to diplomatically isolate Pakistan, strengthen India’s position at international forums, and forge a unified global response to the threat of state-sponsored terrorism.
