Must Read

Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the welfare of the farmers and fishermen will be taken care of when the BJP forms a government in West Bengal.

Addressing a public rally in Haldia in West Bengal, Mr Modi said the paddy farmers, potato farmers and betel leaf farmers will benefit if the BJP forms a state government after the Assembly election. He criticised the Trinamool Congress for neglecting the interests of fishermen in West Bengal. He also said Bharatiya Janata Party always thinks of the welfare of poor people.

Mr. Modi said that the youth are being forced to migrate as labourers to places like the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Odisha due to lack of jobs in the state. He criticized the ruling party for failing to bring development to Haldia’s industrial belt and claimed that once nationally famed fishing industry, has suffered under Trinamool’s regime.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the wave of change which began in Nandigram five years ago will now be seen in Bhabanipur. He alleged that infiltrators are creating fake documents in Bengal and spreading across the country, stressing that the removal of this ruthless government is essential for a developed India.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister will join public meetings in Asansol and Suri in support of party candidates.

On the other hand, Trinamool Congress Supremo Mamata Banerjee today joined a rally at Minakhan in the North 24 Parganas district. She will also address public meetings at other places in the North 24 Parganas district.
