On February 19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the inaugural address, outlining India’s strategic vision for inclusive, ethical, and development-driven AI. These finalists will showcase their solutions during the Grand Finale and Awards Felicitation Ceremony on February 16 and 17 at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan.
The selected innovators will interact with global policymakers, investors, academia, and industry leaders, opening doors for funding opportunities and ecosystem support to scale their solutions nationally and internationally.
Research Symposium Strengthens Academic Collaboration
Another key component of the summit is the Research Symposium on AI and Its Impact, organized in partnership with Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad on February 18.
The symposium has received approximately 250 research submissions from Africa, Asia, and Latin America, highlighting growing academic engagement from emerging regions. It serves as the principal academic platform of the summit, focusing on AI-driven scientific discovery, governance mechanisms, safety protocols, and equitable research collaboration.
The event is being attended by Alar Karis and Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw, reinforcing the high-level political and diplomatic importance of the gathering.
Experts at the symposium are expected to deliberate on critical issues such as algorithmic transparency, data sovereignty, bias mitigation, and expanding computational access for researchers in developing economies.
