CPM state unit secretary Gautam Das suffering from Covid was reported to be critical and had to be airlifted to Kolkata on Monday noon.
He had been admitted in a city hospital but his condition deteriorated further. As it turned critical Das was shifted to Kolkata in an air ambulance. He was accompanied by his wife and a party worker.
