Youth Affairs & Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya felicitated the World Cup-winning Men’s and Women’s Kho Kho teams in New Delhi today. The Minister lauded the players for making the country proud.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Mandaviya said that traditional games showcase resilience, and community spirit, and uphold the country’s traditional sporting values. The Minister underscored that the momentum from all stakeholders should continue, with the latest target being the Asian Games in 2026. He further expressed the government’s endeavour to take Kho Kho to the Olympics in 2036.
