Former Union minister RCP Singh today launched its own political outfit in Bihar. Announcing this at a press conference in Patna, Mr. Singh said that his political party will be known as Aap Sab Ki Awaz—ASA. He said his newly floated party will represent all castes and creeds of the society and participate in Bihar Assembly Elections in 2025.

Former national president of JD(U) and close aide of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Mr. Singh, said his party will try to prove that it is a party with a difference and promote a people-centric agenda.

Mr. Singh was earlier in the BJP, and he quit the party after Nitish Kumar again joined the NDA just before the Lok Sabha Elections.
