The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination 2024 on Monday. At a press conference held at Shiksha Bhavan, TBJEE Chairman Raja Chakraborty revealed that Ayushkar Nath topped the PCM group, while Sayan Majumder secured the first position in the PCB group.
Chakraborty also revealed that a total of 5977 applications were received this year, marking a 6% increase from the previous year’s 5636 applications. A total of 2268 candidates appeared in the PCM group, while 4868 candidates appeared in the PCB group.
Ayushkar Nath (roll number 3627) secured the first position in the PCM group, followed by Sagnik Purkayastha (roll number 3139) and Partha Sarathi Roy (roll number 3735) in the second and third positions, respectively. In the PCB group, Sayan Majumder (roll number 0442) topped the list, with Tilottoma Ghosh (roll number 4978) and Mukthang Debbarma (roll number 0183) securing the second and third ranks.
Chairman Chakraborty also noted that this year saw a higher number of female candidates compared to male candidates.
