Disappointing results of Vidyajyoti Schools have taught the officials of the Shiksha Bhawan to feel “cats do not climb the tree unless pushed”.
For the last three days, the officials of the education department have been moving to the districts to inspect the schools affiliated to CBSE (Vidyajyoti Schools) and are busy in monitoring whether the remedial classes are being conducted properly.
They are also aware of the problems of the students coming to the class and are advising the Principals of the respective schools to solve them.
From May 20 to 22 last, Director of Education N.C. Sharma himself and OSD Sukhrai Debbarma visited the schools of Chankhla, Mohanpur, Khowai, Agartala’s Henry Derozio, Ompi, Taidu, Chechumura Vidyalaya, Paharmura, Charilam, and Bishramganj.
On the other hand, Joint Director Rakesh Debbarma, OSD Pintu Debvarma, OSD Siddhartha Shankar Roy and O.S.D Parthapratim Acharya jointly visited the schools of the entire Dhalai district. During this period, they went out from Shiksha Bhaban for inspection in the morning and returned at night.
This Wednesday, the Director of Education held an online meeting with the officers concerned of each district and gave directions on how to teach in remedial classes. In any case, the education authorities are concerned about saving the year so that the students can pass the exam.
