A 25-year old youth of North Tripura has set out on a cycle mission to travel across the country. Asim Das of Machli village, keen to know about different cultural and traditional practices prevailing in states, started his journey on his bicycle from Agartala on Monday. Paddling through Assam-Agartala road, he reached Teliamura today evening.

Speaking to the media at Teliamura, Asim Das said, I have made a firm decision to travel across the country to know and understand different cultures and customs of my country. Also, I will let people of other States know about Tripura and its unique traditions.

“I am well aware of hurdles and challenges that I may have to face during my journey. However, I am a son of Bharat, so I will not stop exploring my country”, Das said and added several people who have already extended support and blessings. “I hope such cooperation and blessings will continue in coming days “, he exuded confidence.

Asim Das also revealed he is really dreaming big – and after completing the India tour on cycle, he will set his eyes for a world tour.
