Tripura CM Manik Saha highlighted the positive impact of the National Education Policy (NEP) on Class X and XII board exam results. Speaking at a felicitation ceremony, he emphasized quality education, infrastructure development, teacher recruitment, and the integration of technology like AI and Smart Classes to transform Tripura’s education system.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday said that the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) in the state is producing positive outcomes, as reflected in the board exam results of Class X and XII students under various boards including TBSE and CBSE.
Addressing a felicitation ceremony organized by the School Education Department at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan, Saha, who also holds the Secondary Education portfolio, lauded the schools that achieved a 100% pass rate in this year’s Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations.
“The state government is prioritizing the development of education across villages and cities. Funds are being allocated to enhance infrastructure, launch new schemes, and ensure quality education for all students,” said the Chief Minister.
He also announced the government’s plan to set up both an Education Hub and a Health Hub in Tripura to promote competitive learning environments and improve educational outcomes.
Highlighting the crucial role of teachers, Saha stressed the need for proper training and adherence to policy guidelines. He noted that the government is focusing on recruiting quality teachers through the TET and Teachers’ Recruitment Board.
The CM also mentioned the integration of Thinker Labs, Smart Classes, and Artificial Intelligence in schools, underlining the importance of innovation in the learning process. He urged educators and students not to be complacent but to strive for continued improvement in academic performance.

“Tripura is now competing at the national level in several educational parameters. This is just the beginning,” he added.
