Ranji Trophy: Mumbai vs Haryana quarterfinal moved to Kolkata’s Eden Gardens

In Cricket, the Ranji Trophy quarterfinal between defending champions Mumbai and Haryana has been moved from Lahli to Kolkata. The match will now be played at Eden Gardens from February 8 to 12. No official reason has been given for the change of venue. Mumbai Cricket Association president Ajinkya Naik confirmed that they had received communication from the BCCI about the venue change.
The Mumbai team, which has 42 Ranji titles to its credit, will feature stars such as India’s T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav, all-rounder Shivam Dube, Shardul Thakur and skipper Ajinkya Rahane. The Haryana team will be headlined by seam-bowling sensation Anshul Kamboj. In the other quarterfinals, Jammu & Kashmir are playing Kerala at Pune, Vidarbha are playing Tamil Nadu in Nagpur and Gujarat are playing Saurashtra at Rajkot.
