Staff Selection Commission adopts electronic dossiers to speed up recruitment –

The Staff Selection Commission – SSC has fully digitised its process of providing dossiers to Ministries, Departments and other Government organisations to speed up recruitment and strengthen data security. The SSC has transitioned from the usage of physical dossiers to electronic dossiers, or e-dossiers, for forwarding documents of selected candidates. Dossiers of qualified candidates in various examinations are now compiled electronically by the SSC and made available on the e-dossier portal for being downloaded by the nodal officers for initiating pre-appointment formalities. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions highlighted that the transition will enhance data integrity, enhance security and control, ensure faster and more efficient communication, and promote cost savings and environmental sustainability.
