District Magistrate, Sepahijala- Viswashree B. has introduced yet another  unique and absolutely a brilliant concept.

This time, the District Magistrate initiated a programme which will enable the high school students to understand the functioning of the DM office.

As the District Magistrate announced on social media platform, visits of high school students to the DM office would now be arranged on every Wednesday.

During the visits, while the students would get some ideas about the functions of the DM office, the authority concerned would listen to the issues of the students, understand their thought process and hold pep talks.

The concept is going to be beneficial for the students who aspire to become civil servants in future. They will also come to know as to how the DM office works and how the official procedures are worked out. This is perhaps for the first time that such step was taken by any district administration in the country -which will undoubtedly break the monotony of the functioning of the behemoth called ‘administrative system’, and make it more people friendly.
