As the Covid situation continues to improve, the state government allowed more relaxations with effect from February 11 next.

As per the new order, the Corona Night Curfew will now come into force from 11 pm (instead of 10 pm) and continue till 5 am of the next morning for next 10 days till February 20.

All standalone shops and commercial establishments including shopping complexes/ malls, beauty parlours, barber shops will be allowed to function from 6 am to 10 pm.

Meeting/gathering at any closed spaces (up to a maximum 50 percent of capacity only) will be allowed by maintaining aggressive COVID appropriate behaviour. Seating arrangements should be made maintaining 2 yard distance. The movie halls/ multiplexes, swimming pools, gymnasium, sports complexes and stadia would be allowed to function with 50 percent capacity only.

All Government and non-government offices would operate with 100 percent attendance. All Officers/ Staff have been asked to ensure strict compliance with COVID appropriate behaviour- frequent washing of hands/ sanitization, wearing a mask/face cover and maintaining social distancing at all times.

Marriage functions will be allowed following aggressive COVID appropriate behaviour. The people returning from marriage function having valid invitation card will be exempted from the night curfew.

The order said, all religious places may remain open for the public maintaining aggressive COVID appropriate behaviour. Wearing a face cover is compulsory in public places, in all workplaces and during transport.
