
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha highlighted the importance of hard work and education as the keys to success during a virtual interaction with the toppers of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education. The Chief Minister congratulated the meritorious students, their parents, and teachers, and emphasized the need to utilize the talents of these students for the development of the state.
During the interaction, Chief Minister Saha emphasized that there is no alternative to hard work and credited the success of the students to the combined efforts of their parents, teachers, and their own dedication. He expressed hope that a foundation for higher education has been established with the impressive results achieved by the students. The Chief Minister regarded the students as the future of the nation and stressed the importance of knowledge in smoothing their path to success and carrying the responsibility of taking the nation forward.
Referring to a quote by the Prime Minister on education, Chief Minister Saha emphasized the need for students to develop a mindset of doing something for the nation and society alongside their academic education. He also emphasized the importance of learning about the lives and principles of famous personalities to become not only academically successful but also good human beings. The Chief Minister expressed his belief that these meritorious students will bring honor to the state and the country while playing a commendable role in the progress of Tripura.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister engaged with the toppers from various districts of the state, discussing their success in the examinations, future plans, and study methods. The students were delighted to have the opportunity to interact with the Chief Minister. Notably, 28 students secured top 10 positions in the Secondary examination, while 17 students secured top 10 positions in the Higher Secondary examination this year.
Principal Secretary Puneet Agarwal, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. P. K. Chakraborty, Secretary of the Education Department Saradindu Chowdhury, and Director of the School Education Department Chandni Chandran were present during the interaction session, providing their support and guidance.
