Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed his confidence about the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) performance in the upcoming bye-polls and Lok Sabha elections. Addressing a party gathering during a two-day training program for elected representatives of the Zilla Parishad and TTAADC at Agartala’s Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel, Dr. Saha asserted that the populace’s support would be garnered by the BJP owing to the substantial developmental endeavors undertaken by the incumbent state government.
Scheduled for September 5, the bye-polls for two assembly seats in the Sepahijala district—Boxanagar and Dhanpur—are poised to be significant indicators of political sentiment. Dr. Saha expressed confidence that voters would cast their ballots in favor of the BJP, citing the tangible impact of the government’s development initiatives as a driving factor behind this anticipated support.
During the training program, Chief Minister Saha emphasized the importance of direct engagement between elected representatives and the populace.
