Three-year-old Aadyam Dey from Agartala, Tripura, has earned recognition from the Asian Book of World Records for his early learning, cognitive abilities and practical life skills, including bicycle riding, puzzle-solving, traffic signal identification and guided cooking activities.

Three-year-old Aadyam Dey from Agartala in West Tripura has earned recognition from the Asian Book of World Records for his early learning abilities, cognitive development and practical life skills, bringing pride and happiness to his family and well-wishers.

According to the certificate issued on September 29, 2026, Aadyam received the recognition in the category of “Outstanding Achievement in Kids Special Talent – Early Learning, Cognitive Skills & Life Skills.” His achievement highlights his ability to learn new activities, solve puzzles and demonstrate practical skills at an early age.

Despite being just three years old, Aadyam has shown an interest in several activities that involve coordination, memory, observation and problem-solving. These include riding a bicycle, identifying basic traffic signals, completing puzzles and participating in simple cooking activities under adult supervision.

One of his notable abilities is riding a pedal bicycle equipped with training wheels for a distance of more than 100 metres. He can also solve animal- and object-matching puzzles containing approximately nine to 12 pieces in less than a minute.

Apart from these activities, Aadyam has demonstrated an interest in guided visualisation and meditation. According to information shared by his family, he sometimes creates his own visualisations and guides his mother through the process, reflecting his curiosity and imaginative approach to learning.

His practical learning skills are also evident in his ability to remember ingredients, spices and the sequence involved in preparing simple dishes. These activities, carried out with adult supervision, provide opportunities for him to explore everyday tasks while developing memory and coordination.

Aadyam’s father, Anujit Dey, works as an Assistant Public Prosecutor in West Tripura. His mother, Alisha Chakraborty, is a singer and also works as a Management Information System (MIS) Assistant with the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM).

The family expressed happiness and pride over the recognition, describing the achievement as an encouraging milestone in Aadyam’s early years. They highlighted the importance of nurturing children’s curiosity, creativity, independence and practical abilities through age-appropriate activities and supportive learning environments.

Aadyam’s recognition has drawn attention to the value of identifying and encouraging individual interests during early childhood. Activities such as puzzles, supervised everyday tasks, outdoor play and creative exercises can offer young children opportunities to explore their surroundings and develop different skills at their own pace.
