Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das on Friday reviewed the implementation of government welfare schemes and development projects under the Animal Resource Development, Fisheries and Scheduled Caste Welfare departments in Khowai district, stressing the timely delivery of benefits to eligible beneficiaries during the 2026-27 financial year.
The district-level review meeting was held at the conference hall of the Khowai District Magistrate’s office, bringing together officials responsible for the three departments across the district. The discussions focused on assessing the progress of ongoing schemes, monitoring the delivery of government assistance and identifying measures to accelerate the implementation of development initiatives.
During the meeting, Minister Sudhangshu Das examined whether beneficiaries covered under various departmental schemes were receiving government benefits within the stipulated timeframe. He reviewed the progress of initiatives being implemented during the 2026-27 financial year and discussed steps to ensure that eligible residents receive the assistance and services intended for them.
