BJP national General Secretary and West Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb attended the National Office Bearers Introduction Meeting led by party president Nitin Nabin. Deb also interacted with PM Modi, who shared guidance on strengthening the organisation and deepening the BJP’s connection with the people across India.
Former Tripura Chief Minister and West Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday attended the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) National Office Bearers Introduction Meeting, held under the leadership of newly appointed BJP national president Nitin Nabin.
Deb, who was recently appointed as the BJP’s national General Secretary, participated in the organisational programme along with senior party leaders and other newly appointed national office-bearers. During the programme, he also took part in an interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sharing details of the event in a Facebook post, Deb said he attended the National Office Bearers Introduction Meeting under the leadership of BJP National President Nitin Nabin and interacted with senior leaders and fellow office-bearers.
Deb also highlighted his interaction with Prime Minister Modi, saying he participated in an exchange with the Prime Minister as part of the programme involving the newly appointed organisational team.
According to Deb, the Prime Minister’s guidance and inspirational thoughts would continue to motivate the BJP organisation to become stronger while further strengthening and deepening its connection with the people.
The meeting assumes significance following recent organisational changes within the BJP, including the appointment of Nitin Nabin as the party’s national president and Deb as a national General Secretary. The programme provided an opportunity for the newly appointed office-bearers to engage with the party’s senior leadership and discuss organisational priorities.
Deb has previously been assigned important organisational responsibilities in several poll-bound states. His role in the party’s election-related organisational work has gained attention after the BJP recorded strong performances in states where he was entrusted with responsibilities.
With his elevation to the post of national General Secretary, Deb is expected to play a wider role in the BJP’s organisational activities beyond Tripura.
