Spain enter FIFA World Cup knockout stage with win over Uruguay

In the FIFA World Cup, Panama will take on England in a Group L match at East Rutherford in the United States tonight. In another Group L fixture, Croatia will face Ghana in Philadelphia. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 2:30 AM IST.
 
Earlier, Spain booked their place in the knockout stage with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Uruguay. In the Group G matches, Egypt reached the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup for the first time after a 1-1 draw with Iran, while Belgium defeated New Zealand 5-1 to finish at the top of the group.
