Singer-songwriter Talwiinder has released his latest EP, ‘Paiinted Feeliings’, featuring four tracks that explore different dimensions of love, longing, relationships and personal emotions. Through the new musical project, the singer aims to create songs that listeners can connect with personally, discover new meanings in and revisit over the years.
The EP features four distinct musical stories, including two new releases, ‘Geet’ and ‘Jind Meri’. One of the notable tracks on the EP, ‘Geet’, originated from an unexpected conversation about writer’s block. The idea emerged when a fellow musician asked Talwiinder how artists could find inspiration when words and creative ideas stopped flowing.
Instead of searching for a conventional solution, Talwiinder transformed the discussion itself into a musical composition.
Explaining the inspiration behind the song, he said he does not necessarily believe in writer’s block. When his friend discussed the difficulty of finding something to write about, he decided to turn that very feeling into a song. He suggested that sometimes the absence of inspiration can itself become the starting point for a creative idea.
The track reflects his approach to songwriting, where everyday conversations, personal experiences and unexpected thoughts can develop into musical stories.
