Bengaluru will host the 7th edition of the Air Force Arjan Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament 2026 at the Air Marshal Amit Singh Bakshi Hockey Stadium, Air Force Station Jalahalli, from tomorrow till the 3rd of next month.

Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru, Air Marshal S. Sivakumar said that 16 teams from across the country will participate in the prestigious tournament. Teams representing the Army, Railways, CISF, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and several other states and organisations will compete for the title.

Air Marshal Sivakumar said the tournament is being held in Bengaluru for the first time as part of an initiative to take the event to different parts of the country and promote hockey among a wider audience. He added that no foreign teams are participating in this year’s edition due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.

The tournament will feature a substantially enhanced prize pool, with the total prize money increased from seven lakh 51 thousand rupees to 26 lakh 25 thousand rupees. The winning team will receive a cash award of 10 lakh rupees, while the runners-up will be awarded eight lakh rupees.
The tournament is expected to witness keen competition among some of the country’s leading hockey teams.
