Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu launched NCSC’s Project Super 50 at New Delhi, a Civil Services Examination Guidance Programme aimed at empowering Scheduled Caste youth. The initiative provides mentorship, preparation strategies, and expert guidance from senior IAS and IRS officers to help aspirants succeed in civil services examinations.
The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) organized the launch of ‘Project Super 50’, a Civil Services Examination Guidance Programme, at its headquarters in New Delhi on Friday.
The programme, themed “Guide, Mentor, Empower”, seeks to provide structured mentorship, expert guidance, and strategic support to aspiring candidates preparing for India’s prestigious Civil Services Examinations. The initiative is expected to play a crucial role in helping talented youth from Scheduled Caste communities realize their aspirations of serving the nation through public administration.
Governor of Tripura, Indrasena Reddy Nallu, attended the event as the Chief Guest and formally launched the programme. Addressing a large gathering of civil services aspirants, academicians, and serving officers, the Governor shared valuable insights into the history and evolution of civil services in India. He emphasized the importance of dedication, discipline, and strategic preparation for success in highly competitive examinations.
During his address, the Governor also highlighted the vision and contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, stressing the importance of education and equal opportunities in nation-building. He encouraged the aspirants to remain committed to their goals and make meaningful contributions to society through public service.
Speaking on the occasion, Kishore Makwana, Chairman of the NCSC, elaborated on the formation, mandate, powers, and responsibilities of the Commission. He underlined the Commission’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of Scheduled Castes and promoting their social, educational, and economic empowerment.
Dr. Parth Biswas, Member of NCSC, inspired the participants by recalling Dr. Ambedkar’s famous message, “Educate, Organise, Agitate,” and urged young aspirants to embrace knowledge and leadership in their pursuit of excellence.
Another Member of the Commission, Vaddepalli Ramchander, was also present at the event. Gudey Srinivas, Secretary, NCSC, provided practical tips and guidance on examination preparation, time management, and career planning for civil services candidates.
A key highlight of the programme was the participation of senior IAS and IRS officers, who shared their personal experiences, preparation techniques, challenges faced during their journeys, and insights into administrative life. Their interaction offered aspirants a realistic understanding of the examination process and public service responsibilities.
Senior officials of the Commission described Project Super 50 as a concrete step towards enhancing academic excellence and administrative representation among Scheduled Caste youth. They expressed confidence that the initiative would create greater opportunities and inspire a new generation of civil servants committed to inclusive governance and national development.
