Tripura Board begins Madhyamik and Higher Secondary answer script evaluation from April 6 with 2,200 teachers engaged. TBSE aims for fast, transparent assessment and plans to declare results by May 7, bringing relief to students and parents.

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has officially commenced the evaluation of answer scripts for both Madhyamik (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) examinations from April 6, marking a critical phase in the academic calendar of the state.

According to officials, the evaluation process is being conducted across multiple designated centers to ensure efficiency and timely completion. For Higher Secondary examinations, answer scripts are being assessed at Bardowali Higher Secondary School and Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan. Meanwhile, Madhyamik evaluation centers have been established at Bani Vidyapith, Bijoy Kumar Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Bodhjung Girls’ Higher Secondary School, and Kamini Kumar Higher Secondary School.

To oversee the progress of this extensive exercise, TBSE President Dhananjay Gan Choudhury visited Bardowali Higher Secondary School on Wednesday. During his inspection, he reviewed the evaluation procedures and interacted with officials involved in the process. He emphasized the board’s commitment to maintaining accuracy and transparency while ensuring that the results are published within the stipulated timeline.

Choudhury stated that every effort is being made to declare the results at the earliest possible date. However, if early publication is not feasible, the board has tentatively set May 7 as the deadline for releasing the results. This assurance comes as a relief to thousands of students and their families who are eagerly awaiting the outcome of these crucial examinations.

In total, approximately 2,200 teachers have been deployed for the evaluation work across various centers. Their coordinated efforts are expected to ensure that the assessment process is completed smoothly and without delays. The large number of evaluators also reflects the board’s focus on maintaining quality and minimizing the turnaround time for result publication.

The evaluation stage is widely regarded as one of the most significant steps in the examination cycle, as it directly determines students’ academic progression and future opportunities. With strict monitoring and systematic execution in place, TBSE aims to uphold credibility and efficiency in its assessment system.
