As India celebrated the vibrant festival of Holi on Wednesday, Chief Ministers from several states extended heartfelt greetings to citizens, underlining the values of social harmony, empowerment, peace, and prosperity that the festival represents. From the national capital to eastern and northern states, leaders shared messages encouraging unity and goodwill as people immersed themselves in the joyous celebrations of colours.
In the national capital, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta conveyed her wishes through a message posted on X. She described Holi as a sacred occasion symbolising hope, renewed enthusiasm, and prosperity. Emphasising inclusive growth, she said that a developed Delhi is one where celebrations also become instruments of empowerment. Highlighting the role of women in society, she noted efforts to connect every homemaker, daughter, sister, and mother to opportunities that ensure dignity and strength.
She further stated that Holi should not merely be a festival of colours but a celebration of self-reliance and progress. According to her, prosperity must reach every household, and every family should feel secure and empowered during the festivities.
