Pranamya Anusthan Parampara held at Shantir Bazar promotes moral and religious education among students. Led by Principal Utpal Patowari, the event featured a rally, dignitaries’ presence, and distribution of Bhagavad Gita copies to 200 participants.
A ceremonial event titled “Pranamya Anusthan Parampara” was organized on Saturday under the initiative of Shantir Bazar Shishu Shiksha Mandir, aiming to promote moral and religious education among students. The meaningful program was led by the school’s Principal, Utpal Patowari, who has consistently worked toward the welfare and holistic development of children through various social initiatives.
While February 14 is widely recognized across the world as a day celebrating love and affection, the institution chose to mark the occasion with a value-based initiative designed to strengthen students’ ethical and spiritual foundation. According to the organizers, the event was intended to inspire discipline, respect for elders, and cultural awareness among young learners.
As part of the program, a well-organized rally was conducted with enthusiastic participation from students. The rally began from the school premises and proceeded through the main roads of the town before concluding at Mukut Auditorium, where the central ceremony was held. Students carried placards and delivered messages emphasizing moral responsibility, respect for tradition, and the importance of spiritual learning in modern life.
The main function at Mukut Auditorium witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests. The event was formally inaugurated by Swapna Baidya, Chairperson of the Shantir Bazar Municipal Council. Vice Chairman Satyabrata Saha, social worker Debashish Bhowmik, and retired soldier Rathindra Kumar Choudhury were also present, expressing their appreciation for the initiative and encouraging students to uphold strong ethical values.
Addressing the media, Principal Utpal Patowari stressed the growing need for moral and religious education in today’s rapidly changing society. He stated that many children are increasingly disconnected from social and ethical grounding, which can lead to a decline in discipline and respect within communities. He emphasized that programs like “Pranamya Anusthan Parampara” aim to reconnect students with their cultural roots while nurturing responsible citizenship.
A significant highlight of the event was the distribution of copies of the Bhagavad Gita among 200 participants. The distribution was intended to encourage spiritual study and value-based education, helping students gain insights into timeless teachings on duty, righteousness, and self-discipline.
