As part of the Special Intensive Revision SIR of the electoral roll in West Bengal, notices will be sent to persons concerned for hearing from today. Voters will get seven days to appear for the hearing. The office of the Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, informed that the hearing would start from next week. Voters aged 85 and above would not have to appear for the hearing at the centre physically. The Electoral Registration Officer ERO accompanied by AERO and BLO, will visit their homes.
