By-elections for 12 wards of MCD: Over 12% voter turnout reported till so far

By-elections for 12 wards of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is currently underway across 580 polling booths in the national capital. According to the State Election Commission, over 12 percent voter turnout was reported till 11:30 AM. Around 20 percent voting has been recorded in Sangam Vihar-A, Mundka recorded over 17 percent, Chandni Mahal over 16 percent while Greater Kailash 7.16 percent and Dwarka-B recorded 8.37 percent voter turnout till 11:30 AM. Voting of the civic body will continue till 5.30 PM. Over 150 candidates are in the fray.
