In Australian Open Badminton, India’s Lakshya Sen today advanced to the Men’s Singles semifinals after defeating his compatriot Ayush Shetty in the quaterfinal match 23-21, 21-11 in Sydney. Lakshya will clash with Taiwanese player TC Chou in the semifinal match tomorrow.
However, Men’s double pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty was knocked out of the tournament after losing the quarterfinal match to Indonesian pair of Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri 19-21, 15-21.
