In the latest ICC Women’s ODI rankings, India’s young stars Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma have made major gains after their stellar performances in the historic World Cup triumph in Mumbai against South Africa.

Jemimah broke into the top 10 batters for the first time after her match-winning century against Australia in the semi-final, marking a career milestone.

Deepti, on the other hand, climbed to number four among all-rounders after her all-round brilliance during the knockout stages.

The Player of the Tournament, Deepti, took seven wickets and scored vital runs. Smriti Mandhana slipped to number 2 after South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt claimed the top spot with a record-breaking World Cup campaign.
