civil societies urge Gen Z to seek political outlet under President’s guidance

As President of Nepal, Ramchandra Paudel issued a statement that he is currently engaged in consultations and making every possible effort to address the country’s ongoing challenges from within the Constitutional boundary. Many civil societies have urged Gen Z to find an outlet for the current political circumstances through participation and under the guardianship of the President, embracing the constitutional values and path to avert corruption and irregularities in the country.
 
 
A popular civil society, Brihat Nagarik Andola,n has issued a press statement that it is the need of the hour to find a path of success for the Gen Z revolution under the guardianship of the President, who is the patron of Nepal’s Constitution. The  Democratic Thought Society has urged all Civil Society organisations to remain united and proactive to find solutions to the current situation through peaceful dialogue and the democratic process. The CPN (UML) has also issued a statement on behalf of the central secretariat of the party today that the country should be given a political outlet in accordance with the constitution and democratic measures.
 
 
Curfew continues in Kathmandu valley till 6 am of September 12. Prohibitory orders were issued in Morang municipality of Koshi Province, Chitwan in Bagmati near the India border till 7 pm, and Pokhara of Gandaki Pradesh had prohibitory orders till 5 pm today. Even so, the Rupandehi curfew has been extended till 7 pm today. 
 
 
Representatives of the protesting youth are preparing to select representatives for talks, and various organisations are calling for solutions to the problems. Representatives of Gen Z have been seen participating in a cleaning campaign on the streets. Employees of the burned offices have also been active in cleanup, document collection, managing the damaged structures and construction. 
 
 
Tribhuvan International Airport has been reopened, and tourists with valid tickets are facilitated by security personnel to reach the airport. 
 
 
More than 192 inmates were stopped from escaping from the District Prison in Saptari, and in a separate incident, two died in clashes in Ramechhap. Meanwhile, the Hospital death toll from Gen Z demonstrations reached 34 on Thursday, and more than 11,000 people injured have received treatment in various hospitals.
