Agartala, Nov 29: Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma has laid the foundation stone of the new building of Gramin Bank Self-Employment Training Centre at Bishramganj on Sunday.
This self-employment training Centre will be constructed with the financial assistance of the Union Ministry of Rural Development and the State Government, Department of Rural Development.
The construction of the two-storey building of the training Centre will cost Rs 3 crore 17 lakh.
The Deputy Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of the new building and exchanged views with the youth of the training Centre.
Sahakari Sabhadhipati of Sepahijala Zilla Parishad Pintu Aich, Executive Engineer of Rural Development Department Dibakar Shil, Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank Mahendra Singh, Officer-in-Charge of the Training Centre Ajay Chakraborty and others were present at the foundation laying
ceremony.
