Amit Shah Slams TMC Over Law and Order situation –

Must Read

Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly criticized the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal, and claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party is aiming to form the next government in 2026 assembly elections in the state.
Referring to the state’s law and order situation, Mr. Shah pointed to the post-poll violence, infiltration from across borders, corruption, and a rise in crimes against women as signs of administrative failure. While addressing a rally at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata today, he alleged that the state government had failed to uphold democracy and raised concerns over the deaths of several BJP workers following the last assembly elections.
Without naming specific incidents, Amit Shah accused the TMC of undermining national security, referring to recent controversies surrounding central military operations that drew opposition from the Bengal leadership. He felt that such positions reflected insensitivity to both national pride and the sentiments of the citizens.
The speech is seen as start in the BJP’s early campaign for 2026, particularly as the party intensifies its focus on regions like North Bengal where it has seen past electoral gains.
