Government launches essay, video, and painting contests for 78th Independence Day –

The government is organising various competitions for young minds on the account of the 78th Independence Day beginning today. The first competition is a bilingual essay contest on ‘Operation Sindoor – Redefining India’s Policy against Terrorism’.
 
 
The top three winners of the contest will win a cash prize of ten thousand rupees each and get an exclusive chance to attend the 78th Independence Day celebrations at Red Fort in New Delhi. Interested participants can visit the website of My Gov to participate in the contest. The competition is open till the 30th of this month.
 

In the second competition, the government has invited all the budding social media influencers to make videos and reels of their walk to any of the monuments and sites of Indian Independence. Interested participants will have to post the reels and videos on their social media pages with the hashtags #NewIndia #EmpoweredIndia and #independenceday2025. The top three winners can win a cash prize of ten thousand rupees each.
 

Meanwhile, a painting competition has also been organised on the theme Naya Bharat Sashakt Bharat where the participants have the opportunity to show the progress and achievements of the country with colors. Further information about the competition is also available on the My Gov website.
 

All the competitions have been organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence and MyGovIndia and are open till the 30th of this month.
