Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 15 mega development projects worth over 47,573 crore rupees in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, this afternoon. He also flagged off the Kanpur Metro’s new corridor between Chunniganj and Nayaganj. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that the entire world witnessed the anger and pain of daughters in the form of Operation Sindoor, and that India completely destroyed several terror hubs in Pakistan. He said the enemy, which was trembling during Operation Sindoor, should not be under any illusion, Operation Sindoor is not over yet. The Prime Minister said Pakistan’s state and non-state actors can no longer play their games, and the enemy will be dealt with decisively. He said, it was the valour and courage of our armed forces that forced Pakistan to beg for a ceasefire.
Earlier, Mr Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone and dedicated to the nation multiple development projects worth over 48,520 crore rupees in Karakat of Bihar this morning. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said, the double-engine government is continuously striving for the all-round development of Bihar. In this direction, it inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth thousands of crores of rupees today.
The Prime Minister inaugurated the Four-Lane Patna-Gaya-Dobhi section of NH-22, a project worth around 5,500 crore rupees, along with a part of the Four-Lane elevated highway in Gopalganj Town on NH-27, valued at over 249 crore rupees. The Patna-Gaya-Dobhi highway enhanced connectivity between the capital city of Patna and the heritage city of Gaya in Bihar. The Prime Minister also dedicated to the nation the third rail line between Son Nagar and Mohammad Ganj, a project worth over 1,330 crore rupees.
