The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has declared the 2025 Madhyamik and Higher Secondary exam results, with pass rates of 86.53% and 79.29% respectively. South Tripura and Sepahijala districts recorded the highest success rates.
The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) declared the results of the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations 2025 on Wednesday.

Announcing the results at a press conference, TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury stated that the overall pass percentage for the Madhyamik examination stands at 86.53%, while 79.29% of students cleared the Higher Secondary examination this year.
A total of 29,670 students—13,861 boys and 15,809 girls—appeared for the Madhyamik exam, compared to 33,739 candidates last year.
Out of 1,019 schools, 345 achieved a 100% pass rate, and notably, no school recorded a zero pass percentage.
Among districts, South Tripura recorded the highest Madhyamik pass rate at 90.69%, followed by Gomati with 90.42% and Sepahijala with 89.93%.
In the Higher Secondary examination, 21,506 students appeared—9,920 boys and 11,586 girls. The pass percentage has slightly improved from last year’s 79.27%.
A total of 39 schools achieved a 100% pass rate in Higher Secondary, while students from three schools failed to secure pass marks.
Sepahijala district led in the Higher Secondary results with a pass percentage of 87.98%, followed by South Tripura at 82.47% and West Tripura at 82.20%.
