At Paris Olympics 2024, Avinash Sable created history last night by becoming the first Indian male athlete to qualify for the men’s 3000m steeplechase final. Sable finished fifth in his heat with a timing of 8:15.43 minutes to qualify for the finals scheduled for 8th of August.
