The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examinations (TBJEE) orchestrated a successful Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) this year, attracting a robust turnout of candidates across the state in both PCB and PCM categories. Conducted seamlessly across 17 centres, the exam ensured equal opportunities for all aspirants.

Dr. Raja Chakraborty, the board’s chairman, personally supervised the examination process at various centres in Agartala, underscoring the commitment to fair proceedings. With approximately 6,000 candidates registering for the JEE, there’s a clear indication of the youth’s fervour for pursuing higher education.

Despite minor scheduling delays, Dr. Chakraborty assured prompt result announcements by the end of May, ensuring an efficient assessment process.

The examination sessions were meticulously organized, with the physics and chemistry exams held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the biology exam from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., and the math exam from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Out of the 16 centres, 11 were located in Agartala. Dr. Chakraborty’s visit to the examination centre at Baradowali School in the capital affirmed the proper conduct of the exam.
