Various handicrafts from Tripura are being used in the construction of the new terminal. The new terminal has the capacity to handle 1200 passengers including international travellers per day.
A BJP top leader said when the state government announced the Vidyajyoti Schools; the Communists as expected from their negative attitude tried to play the game in their own style and made attempts to misguide the people explaining that the move was meant for privatization of the schools. But, their plan didn’t work; rather the scheme would ensure quality education to the students.
