Q. How was the experience of working with a first-time director?

A.I have worked with many new and first-time directors in my career. I was aware of Chandans thoughts since I knew him for a very long time. When I read the script, I got to know about Chandans complicated thoughts (laughs).

Q. How was the journey to get into the psyche of this character?

A.It was a bit complicated because I had to play somebody who can see ghosts. That is not normal. She has issues which had to keep in mind while portraying her. She has mental disorders. So those complications had to be kept subtle. But it was fun for me as an actor to explore such a character.

Q. How do you see casting ofwomen in films now?

A.Yes, earlier women aged 40 were offered mothers roles. Women around that age previously couldnt get cast. We are breaking those lines now. We are trying to move forward and progress as a cinema nationally. Who wonders about the age of Tabu while she aceson the big screens!
